Septic Tank covers designed for economic installations of tank riser systems
Hedstrom Plastics manufactures round polyethylene covers and square-to-round adapter plates for field installation of ground level opening access to septic tanks and drainage junction boxes. Molded by the rotational molding process in thick walled polyethylene with ultraviolet inhibitors, the covers are sized to fit industry standard 18" and 24" double wall corrugated polypipe.
The black polyethylene adapter plates are designed to provide a seal between septic tank sewer opening and the round double wall polypipe.
Double-wall corrugated polypipe is available in building and supply distributors across the country to be purchased in bulk lengths and easily cut to the required length.
Installation requires sealant for the adapter plate, closed cell foam gaskets and tamper proof screws are provided with each cover to secure the cover to the polypipe.
Filling the one piece seamless cover with sand will increase the weight of the cover if required (sand not included). When installed flush at ground level, the covers will support weight of lawn tractors, not recommended for heavier vehicle traffic areas.
All covers and adapter plates are manufactured in our Ashland Ohio facility and distributed direct to contractors and installers with volume discounts available.
